NEW ‘PARTNERSHIP’ WITH DEAL TOWN RANGERS

RANGERS DEAL

The Hoops are pleased to announce that we have agreed a new ‘partnership’  arrangement with Deal Town Rangers Youth Football Club.

Hoops chairman Rob Marriott said: “After meeting with Deal Town Rangers on Sunday  evening I am delighted that the two clubs have agreed to form a partnership which I am  sure will prove of benefit to both parties.

“For my part, I am particularly keen to give the children and young people of Deal and  the surrounding area somewhere to push on to from junior football and perhaps one day  pull on the Hoops’ first team shirt.

“We are looking forward to a long working relationship with Deal Town Rangers.”

Rangers chairman Alan Clarke said: “On behalf of Deal Town Rangers Youth Football  Club we are excited to be linking up with the town’s senior club, Deal Town FC, in a new partnership.

“As the largest local youth football club in the area, running 20 teams, this is a connection I have hoped for in my four years as club chairman and it will benefit both clubs.

“Whilst our management structure and finances will remain separate, Deal Town Rangers will be able to use the facilities at the Charles Ground for games, festivals, meetings, presentations, membership and social events.

“And for Deal Town this will mean increased use of the Charles Ground, including the excellent new clubhouse, to bring in more finance for the club and increase attendances at games.

“Deal Town Rangers see this as a positive and long overdue move forward for football in Deal.”
