Deal’s friendly with Folkestone Invicta on Tuesday night had to be abandoned at half-time after referee Matt McCaughan collapsed on the pitch. A doctor was called and, after receiving treatment, the Deal official was able to walk slowly off the pitch. With the score 0-0 both managers agreed to abandon the game.
