Deal Town begin a run of three successive home games when they take on Tunbridge Wells at the Charles Ground on Saturday.
The Hoops then host Erith & Belvedere on Saturday, December 19, followed by Rochester United on Bank Holiday Monday , December 28.
And manager Derek Hares, whose side gained their first away league win of the season at Sevenoaks last Saturday, believes the upcoming run of home matches offers Deal an excellent opportunity to pull away from the bottom of the table. He told the East Kent Mercury: “It was nice to play well at Sevenoaks but the result was all that mattered. It keeps us in touch with the clubs just above us and this is a big month for us – we need to pick up points.”
With Chris Waymark currently serving a three-match ban Henry Newcombe, the Hoops’ 18-year-old loan signing from Gillingham, will again deputise in goal. Hares added: “We got him through Paul Murray’s connections with the Gills’ Academy. They wanted him to go out on loan and he will be with us for the next month.”
Jack Tanner and Danny Smith also start suspensions this weekend while Andy Miller (knee) and Brad Short (ankle) are both ruled out, but Michael Yianni is available again after missing the Sevenoaks game.

Will all be tough games, especially with all the suspensions(!)and injuries coming at the same time. We need these players back ASAP.
Looking forward to tomorrow(weather permitting!)
Agree with Derek that results count and take the points even if performance is below par.
Deal have performed extremely well and lost so with a bit of luck as well its ok.
I am pleased that Paul got some cover in goal and wish the lad well. If he does well then who knows Deal could move up.
I am sure they will and the away win will give them
the confidence to take on a struggling Tun.Wells side.
Come on Deal.!!!!
