The club are pleased to announce that Billy Munday has joined on a one-month loan deal from Ramsgate Football Club. 19-year-old Billy has featured a number of times for Ramsgate in the Bostik South East Division this year and should be a good addition to the Hoops squad. The ball playing midfielder made his debut coming on as a second half substitute against Crowborough on Saturday.
Steve King said, “Billy is a player I have watched a number of times over the last 18 months and he has impressed me on each occasion. He has good technical ability and understands the game well for a young player. He will add further competition for places in the midfield area and we look forward to helping him further develop his game during his time with us.
Billy joins his brother Jake Munday who joined on a dual registration from Ramsgate a couple of weeks ago and has started the last four games. We hope they both enjoy their time at the Charles Ground

Billy and Jake are the sons of former Hoops’ midfielder Mark Munday, who made 44 appearances for Deal in the 2007-08 season after a long and distinguished career with Margate. Mark, who also played a few games for Deal in 2010, was back at the Charles Ground last Saturday to watch his two boys in action against Crowborough.
