Late in Saturday’s 2-0 win against Crowborough central defender Kane Smith unfortunately picked up a serious ankle injury. Kane was immediately taken to a local hospital and the X-ray results showed that he had suffered a broken ankle. Thankfully Kane has had some positive news today meaning he will not require an operation and that there is no further damage in the injured area. Although Kane will still be missing for a number of weeks, it is not as bad as first feared and we all hope to see him back in a Hoops shirt at some stage in the New Year.

Great news. 🙂
When the news first “broke”,there were fears that he would have been missing for up to three months. 🙁
Wish him well and a speedy and painless recovery.
Always sorry to hear of injuries to players. Wishing Kane a speedy recovery.
