Deal will be looking to erase the painful memories from their last meeting with Erith Town when they travel to Crayford to take on the Dockers on Saturday.
The Hoops lost 4-2 at home to Erith in late January and manager Derek Hares admitted: “That was probably our most disappointing result of the season, we didn’t play well that day. Erith were a big, physical side and I am surprised to see them still in trouble.”
The Dockers, who groundshare with VCD Athletic, are fifth from bottom of the Southern Counties East League table and lost 5-0 at Corinthian last Saturday. They have won only twice since their victory at the Charles Ground while the Hoops in contrast are on a run of just one defeat in their last nine league matches, and Hares and his side would love to extend that figure into double figures this weekend.
However, Deal will again be without the injured trio of Andy Miller (ankle), Luke Bigginton (hamstring) and Connor Coyne (knee), but Harry Alexander returns to the squad after recovering from his hamstring injury.
Deal Town Reserves round off their Kent County League season in tough fashion on Saturday with a home game against Division Two Central & East leaders Cuxton 91 (2.45pm).
The Medway side have won 14 of their 15 league games so far this season and boast an eight-point lead at the top of the table although second-placed Willesborough Athletic do have two matches in hand.

Tough Fixture for the Reserves last game of the season, once again the Squad will include 6 Under 18’s who have all come through the system from the Rangers and have played in the last 2 successive Wins…..Come and cheer us on if you have the time 🙂 14:45 KO.
Notice that 2 of the ressies now play for Ramsgates’ U21s. In effect, they stand a chance of playing Ryman footy, whereas they never got the chance for the 1st team here.
That looks like 2 players who wont return when/if the club ever decide to run a reserve team again. 🙁
We need to think of next year,as who knows who’s going/staying for the 1sts
