Although the season finished just over a month ago the hard work behind the scenes has not stopped at the Charles Ground and we are pleased to announce that the following players have committed to the club for the 2023/24 season:

After such a successful season last year it has been great that boys have all committed to the club again. Loyalty and stability are two key words in our long-term plan and to have retained all of these players is a testament to their belief in what we are doing as a club. In the group of players that will be staying next season there is total of over 2,000 appearances for the club and 7 of the players have played over 150 games for the club, something that is very rare in modern non-league football.
In terms of the management team Dean Hill, Kieron Hollier, Dave Briggs and Dan Levey will be continuing in their roles meaning we have continuity both on and off the pitch in the coming season.
As with all management teams there are still areas that we are looking to strengthen with new players and we have been working hard on this since the end of last season. We have identified some key targets and will let people know as and when they join the club.
There will be further announcements this weekend about our pre-season schedule and we can’t wait to welcome you all back to the ground. We will be back training in the coming weeks so the season will come round in no time.
