NEW SPONSOR ANNOUNCED AS BAYLISS EXECUTIVE TRAVEL

By Deal Town

Deal Town have a new major sponsor for next season in the shape of Bayliss Executive Travel.

And many Hoops supporters will be aware that the club already has a strong link with the Southwall Road coach company via chairman Rob Marriott, who is a senior employee of the owner, Alistair Bayliss.

The 44-year-old Scotsman, who started his thriving business 12 years ago, said: “It’s great to see the turnaround in Deal Town’s fortunes both on and off the pitch.

“Chairman Rob Marriott and his board have done a terrific job and that’s why I’ve decided to support them next season.”

A passionate Aberdeen and Scotland soccer fan, Alistair’s sporting contacts have helped him to win prestige contracts with several sports clubs  including Sheffield United and Ebbsfleet United football clubs, Kent County Cricket Club and Canterbury Rugby Club.

And, thanks to the Ebbsfleet link, Hoops fans can look forward to seeing the National League South side, who narrowly missed out on promotion, arrive at the Charles Ground in one of Bayliss’s luxury coaches for a pre-season friendly against Deal on Saturday, July 16.

Rob Marriott said: “I am delighted that Bayliss Executive Travel have become our major sponsors for next season, and this exciting link has already produced an extra dividend with Ebbsfleet agreeing to provide the attractive opposition for one of our opening pre-season friendlies.”

  1. It’s great for the club to get a big sponsor in the shape of Bayliss.
Well done Rob for being a good employee as his hard work at Deal is rewarded.
Off the field activities have hindered Deal for so long and prevented them progressing.
This is a huge step in the right direction and I can’t wait for the season to get started. It’s a bit early at the moment probably to be open about potential targets as Deal will like to keep it quiet.
I just hope the players that finished last seaon so well can see the club going in the right direction and put their signatures on the squad list.
    Well done everyone.
    Come on Deal.!!!

  2. Agree with you regarding the signings, but if we don’t get any more friendlies lined up,the team won’t be match fit, especially as the FA,in their infinite wisdom, have decided to start the FA Cup trail on the 6th Aug,which is opening day of the season! 🙁
