After completing their third league “double” of the season in their last match against Hollands & Blair the Hoops will be looking to add another one to that list when they travel to K Sports on Tuesday night.
And Derek Hares’ side have in fact already beaten the Paperboys twice this season, winning 4-1 at Cobdown in an FA Vase 2nd qualifying round tie in early September and then following that up the following weekend by defeating K Sports 2-1 at home in the league.
Although the Hoops didn’t have a match last weekend K Sports were in action and they suffered their third successive league defeat, going down 3-0 at Lordswood, and they have now slipped to 12th place in the table having been in seventh position little over a month ago.
Deal for their part know that three points on Tuesday could lift them back into seventh place, depending on how Lordswood get on against Rusthall the same night.
