Recap
The Hoops picked up their first point of the season with a 2-2 draw at Rochester United on Bank Holiday Monday.
It had looked as though Deal would be coming home with all three points after Carl Munday gave Derek Hares’ side a 2-1 lead with only three minutes remaining, but Rochester hit back to equalise two minutes later through Tom Carr.
The home side had opened the scoring in the first half through Sam Parrish but the Hoops drew level before half-time through Joe Reeves.
