CROWBOROUGH V HOOPS MATCH PREVIEW

By Deal Town

The Hoops will look to gain revenge for their biggest defeat of the season when they travel to Crowborough Athletic on Saturday.

The Sussex club produced some superb attacking football on their way to a 6-1 victory at the Charles Ground in early October and anybody who watched that performance will not be surprised that Crowborough are now pushing hard for the Southern Counties East League title.

But the Hoops, beaten only once in their last eight matches in league and cup, should prove a tougher nut to crack this time around despite being without striker Connor Coyne who is ruled out by a knee injury.

Deal Reserves meanwhile will be in action at the Charles Ground on Saturday (2.45pm) when they take on New Romney Reserves in the ACS JOMA Kent County League Division 2 Central & East.
