A season of progress
As another season draws to a close at Deal Town FC, it’s impossible not to feel proud of just how far we’ve come — not only in our footballing journey, but as a united club and community.
One of the most significant steps forward has been the merger with Deal Town Rangers. Bringing our two clubs together — combining the strength of our senior setup with the energy and talent of a thriving youth section — is a moment that will define the future of football in Deal. It creates a clear pathway, a shared identity, and a stronger foundation for generations of young players to grow!
Our new changing rooms have been another moment to reflect on. Walking through them for the first time, I felt a quiet sense of pride — not just in the building itself, but in what it represents. Progress. Care. Belief in our players and our community. They’re a reminder that we’re building something that will outlast all of us.
The new fencing might seem like a small detail, but when you stand back and look at the ground, you can see how much it has lifted the whole place. It’s another step forward, another sign of a club that keeps moving, keeps improving, keeps striving.
Built by the community
But when I think about this season, my mind always returns to the people. Our volunteers, who give so much of themselves, often quietly, often without recognition, but always with heart. They are the steady hands behind every matchday, every training session, every piece of progress we make. Their commitment is something I never take for granted.
And to our brilliant teams across the whole club — players, coaches, and support staff — thank you. You’ve represented Deal Town with pride and togetherness
Looking ahead
It’s been a season of progress and real momentum. Now, after months of hard work on and off the pitch, it’s time for everyone to take a breath and enjoy a few well‑earned weeks off.
“ Thank you to every supporter, sponsor and volunteer who has helped move the club forward this season. ”
