The Hoops will try again on Tuesday night to play their delayed FA Vase second round tie at Chichester City – and Derek Hares’ side now know what their reward will be for victory over their Southern Combination League opponents.
In today’s third round draw Deal or Chichester were handed an away tie with Whitstable Town, who the Hoops have already beaten at home in the league this season.
But Deal must first overcome a tough test at Chichester, which hasn’t been made any easier by having to travel to west Sussex in midweek after Saturday’s scheduled fixture was postponed because of a waterlogged pitch.

It’s always nice to know the reward but a shame another away draw on the cards.
I also find it bizarre that such a fixture is arranged so quickly for midweek.
The Chi are huge favourites now mainly because it’s such a long way I can’t believe why it couldn’t have been played on Saturday.
I just hope the lads can deal with it because I feel they are even more up against it before they even kick-off.
Hopefully the lads can produce a quality performance because they are always up against it.
I’m sure it will be an intriguing encounter and one not to be missed.
Hopefully a few fans can make the trip.
Come on Deal.???
