TOM CHAPMAN SIGNS FOR THE HOOPS

By Deal Town

Deal Town are delighted to announce the signing of Tom Chapman. Tom ,27, has spent the last ten years at Ramsgate FC where he has also been club captain during that time. Winger Tom will be linking up with brother Ben at the Hoops and will be available for our home game against Kennington on Tuesday. This is a real coup for the club as Tom has been a standout performer at Isthmian South level for the last decade.Commenting on the signing Steve King said, ’This is a massive signing for the club. I have known Tom for a long time and he knows a lot about the club with his brother being a major part of the squad. He has played with a number of the boys before and we know he will fit straight into the close-knit dressing room. We have a long-term project at Deal where we are trying to build a squad of the most talented local players and there is no doubt that Tom fits the bill perfectly. As well as being an outstanding player he is also an excellent person to have in and around the squad and we are all looking forward to working with him. He has really bought into the project and I can’t wait to see him in a Hoop’s shirt.’Tom will be available to make his debut against Kennington on Tuesday at the Charles Ground and it will be great to see a large crowd to welcome our new signing to the club. Welcome to the club Tom Chapman👏🏼🖤🤍
