THREE NEW OPPONENTS FOR THE HOOPS

By Deal Town

The Hoops will be playing against three new teams in the Southern Counties East League Premier Division next season.
Greenwich Borough return to the SCEL after being relegated from the Bostik Isthmian League South East Division. Borough have also just announced that they will be playing at a new ground next season after agreeing a one-year groundshare deal with Phoenix Sports, who play at the Mayplace Ground in Bexleyheath.
Joining Borough in the Premier Division will be Welling Town, who won the Division One title in their first-ever season in the SCEL and who play at Bayliss Avenue in Thamesmead
Welling finished one point ahead of Erith & Belvedere, who will be returning to the top flight after spending two seasons in Division One following their relegation at the end of the 2016-17 campaign. The Deres play at Park View Road in Welling, which they have been sharing with Welling United since 1999.
