NEW DATE FOR CUP TIE

By Deal Town

The Hoops and Whitstable will now try and play their weather-hit SCEL Challenge Cup quarter-final at The Belmont next Tuesday (March 6), which means a fresh date will have to be found for Deal’s league game at Sheppey United which had been scheduled for the same evening

  1. Lets hope for no more snow and rain and that the Belmont drys out, otherwise it’ll be like trying to play football on Margate beach at low tide! 😉

  2. Still doubtful I reckon but we’ll see.
It’s gonna mean now that should Deal get through then a game every midweek till the end of the season.
It will be a heavy pitch and a long night possibly.
    Good luck and
    Come on Deal.!!!!
