NEW AWAY KIT SPONSOR

By Deal Town

The Hoops have new sponsors for their away kit in the forthcoming season. The strip will be sponsored by M.A.P.S., the service for people for with learning disabilities who use the facilities at the Charles Ground on a regular basis.

On Tuesday (June 25) for example M.A.P.S. held an “activities day” at the ground, which included football and bingo, and Mark Spurgeon, the head of M.A.P.S., “tweeted” afterwards: “Exciting day at Deal Town with record numbers and lots of activities inside and outside.”

And M.A.P.S. are organising a disability game at the Charles Ground on Saturday, July 6. The match will kick off at 1pm, and the M.A.P.S.members will then stay on to watch the Hoops’ friendly against Hemel Hempstead, which kicks off at 2.30pm. The admission price covering both games is £5, which also includes food.
