The Hoops will look to complete their second league “double” of the season when they travel to south-east London to take on Fisher on Easter Saturday.

Deal defeated Fisher 4-1 at the Charles Ground on the opening day of the season thanks to goals from Kristin Gregory, Andy Miller, Ryan Philpott and Charlie Walsh.

And Derek Hares’ side won by exactly the same score on their last visit to Fisher just over a year ago, when Philpott helped himself to a hat-trick and Charlie Dickens was also on target.

Fisher, who currently groundshare with Dulwich Hamlet at their Dog Kennel Hill ground, are lying 16th in the Southern Counties East League table, five points behind the Hoops who have played two games  less.

Two wins and a draw in their last three matches have lifted Deal to 12th place and manager Derek Hares said: “Winning gives everybody a different feeling and we have done well at Fisher in recent seasons.”

The Hoops will again be without skipper Dean Hill who is serving the second match of his two-match ban, while Charlie Walsh is also sidelined for picking up 10 bookings.

Deal Town Reserves are at home to Larkfield & New Hythe Wanderers in the NRG Kent County League on Saturday (2.45).
