The Hoops travel to “draw specialists” Croydon on Saturday hoping to end their run of four successive defeats.

The south London club have drawn five of their last seven matches and are currently in 17th place in the Southern Counties East League table, two places and two points behind Derek Hares’ side who have played two games less.

When the teams met at the Charles Ground in early October Croydon came out on top 2-1, with Rene Rivera scoring the Hoops’ goal.

Deal Reserves meanwhile are at home to a Rolvenden side who are pressing hard for the Division Two East title in the NRG Kent County League. The Ashford village club are second in the table, five points behind leaders Kings Hill but with four games in hand. The match kicks off at 2.45pm.

  1. Yes a good draw at home to Greenwich at the weekend and a good draw with Hollands and Blair.
They are a good side and Deal will find it difficult against them.
Deal need to get on a run of good results again and if they can they could move up into the top half of the league. They have the potential to do that and it’s not beyond them.
It will be good also if they can get matches on each week.
    Good luck to the lads.
    Come on Deal.!!!!

  2. Well lets hope we play better than we did in the home game against them! Hope the team aren’t “ring rusty” due to not playing for some time.
    Good luck to all.
