HOOPS TO PLAY MARGATE IN PRE-SEASON FRIENDLY

By Deal Town

Deal are to play a pre-season friendly with Margate at Hartsdown Park on Tuesday, July 16.

The game has been arranged by Hoops commercial director Rob Marriott, who had a spell on the Margate board before returning to the Charles Ground last season.

Meanwhile another of the Hoops’ pre-season games has been cancelled. Deal were due to play Concord Rangers at home on July 6 but that game is now “off” following the departure from the Essex club this week of their manager, Sammy Moore.

  1. I only managed to see two Deal games this season as I live in Hungerford – that said Hungerford Town avoided relegation on the final day which means that they are in the sixth tier for another season – I do not support either Liverpool or Spurs but WOW what semi finals they were – hopefully Chelsea will do the business tonight but who knows – seeing games like these confirms why we all love football so much – I will try to be in Deal for at least one of the friendlies – have a good summer guys .
