The Hoops have been handed a tough start to the new season after the Southern Counties East League fixtures were released today.
Their first game on Saturday, August 3 will be at home to south-east London side Fisher, who finished third in the Premier Division last season, and then three days later Derek Hares’ side will travel to Chatham Town who did the “double” over Deal on their way to achieving a fourth-place finish in the 2018-19 campaign.
The Hoops will be in FA Cup extra preliminary round action away to Sutton Athletic on August 10 before hitting the road again a week later to take on Glebe in the league.
Their August league fixtures will then be completed by two home games, against Hollands & Blair on August 20 and Canterbury City on Bank Holiday Monday August 26, with an FA Cup home tie against Ashford Town (Middlesex) on August 24 sandwiched in between should the Hoops overcome Sutton Athletic.
