HOOPS FACE CORINTHIAN IN CUP YET AGAIN

By Deal Town

For the third season running the Hoops have been drawn against Corinthian in a cup competition.
In the forthcoming campaign the two sides will meet at Corinthian in the first round of the Kent Senior Trophy on Saturday, October 19 after the draw was announced today.
Last season they met in two different cup competitions. Corinthian won 3-2 at home in the FA Vase first round and they also defeated Deal 2-1 after extra-time in the third round of the SCEL Challenge Cup at the Charles Ground.
But at the start of the 2017-18 season it was the Hoops who came out on top, winning 4-1 in an FA Cup extra preliminary round replay at the Charles Ground after the first meeting at Corinthian ended in a 2-2 draw
