HOOPS BEAT HAWKINGE IN FRIENDLY

The Hoops defeated Hawkinge Town 2-1 in their friendly at the Charles Ground on Tuesday night thanks to goals by Joe Reeves and Troy Howard.
Head coach Steve King “tweeted” afterwards: “Good work out for the boys this evening and good to get minutes into the legs of those who needed it.
“Also great to see three 16-year-olds on the pitch for the Hoops, and with one of them scoring. Excellent to see the work with Deal Town Rangers over the past two years starting to provide opportunities for our talented youngsters.”
