GLEBE V HOOPS PREVIEW

By Deal Town

The Hoops and Glebe will both be looking to bounce back from their midweek League Challenge Cup exits when they meet at Foxbury Avenue on Saturday.
While Deal lost 2-1 after extra-time to Corinthian on Tuesday Glebe went down 3-2 at home to Erith Town in what proved to be the last match in charge for manager Anwar Uddin, who was relieved of his duties two days later.
That defeat by Erith was Glebe’s fifth in their last six matches, a run which has seen them slip to 13th place in the table. But the Hoops too are also in need of a lift after three losses and two draws in their last five matches and they will be looking to improve on the 1-1 draw they achieved against Glebe when the sides met at the Charles Ground back in early September .

  1. After having played the top three teams in the last month,it’s now a chance to pick up some points against a couple of the lower placed teams in the league, with tomorrows’ game and next weeks fixture against Punjab. 🙂
    Good luck in both games.
