We opened our pre-season campaign with a good 3-0 win against Hythe Town from the Isthmian South East with goals from Connor Coyne, Ben Chapman and Sam Wilson.
We followed this up with a 5-0 victory against Kent County Premier League team New Romney at the Charles Ground. The goals in this game came from a Sam Wilson hat trick, Ben Chapman and Jack Paxman.
Our next game was a trip to fellow Kent County Premier League Hawkinge where we recorded a 6-0 victory with Alfie Foster, Jack Paxman, Harry Andrews, Sammy Gibson, Joe Reeves and an own goal all on the scoresheet.
It was Isthmian South East opponents up next at the Charles Ground as we played out an entertaining 1-1 draw with Whitstable Town; Connor Coyne with the Deal goal.
The following weekend saw us entertain SCFEL Division 1 side Lydd and a rampant first half saw us 6-0 up at the break with the final score ending up 6-1. Goals coming from Billy Munday (2), Kieran Jones (2), Jack Paxman and Harry Alexander.
Our only defeat in pre-season came against a strong Dover Athletic side in front of a crowd of 680. The visitors who fielded all of their available contracted players run out 3-0 winners.
Our final pre-season game saw us travel to K Sports to play SCEFL Division 1 side Greenways. An outstanding team performance saw us register an impressive 8-0 win. Connor Coyne bagged a hat trick with Jack Paxman (2), Troy Howard, Harry Andrews and Josh Jackson also finding the net.
