A superb start by City, in which they attacked with pace and slick passing and destroyed Deal’s defensive left side, saw the visitors lead 3-0 after just 30 minutes.
Sam Lawford struck for City in the 10th and 23rd minutes, firstly finishing off a cross from the right by the impressive Patrick Nzuzi and then slotting home from a tight angle after good work by Rob Lawrence.
On the half hour Danny Keytes drove home a third for the rampant visitors. .
With Dean Hill and Ben Chapman sent on at the start of the second half there was a brief response from Deal which saw Joe Reeves to pull a goal back after 60 minutes.
Any hope of a comeback by the home side were dashed within 60 seconds when Deal keeper James Tonkin fouled Rob Lawrence in the box, and after a short delay in which Tonkin was cautioned, David Pilcher rapped home the resultant spot kick on 62 minutes.
Deal’s miserable afternoon was completed when Andy Miller received a red card fourteen minutes from full time for serious foul play.
