Deal Town’s rescheduled FA Vase first round tie at Westside tonight was postponed for a second time earlier today.
The Hoops were originally due to play the Combined Counties League Division One side, who groundshare with Chessington & Hook FC, on Sunday but that game was unable to go ahead because Chessington’s Chalky Lane pitch was waterlogged.
And, following more heavy rain in the last 24 hours, tonight’s fixture was also called off after a pitch inspection this morning and the match has now been rescheduled for next Wednesday (October 23).
When the tie is eventually decided the winners will meet South Midlands League side Oxhey Jets at home in the second round.
