Deal Welcome Arthurs & Bramble

By Deal Town

The club are pleased to announce that they have signed two young players from Gillingham FC on work experience terms. Jude Arthurs and TJ Bramble, both 17, have joined the club this week and will be in the squad for tomorrow’s game against K Sports.

Jude is an energetic midfielder who can play centrally or wide. He has been a regular in Gillingham’s successful FA Youth Cup run and recently played for the clubs u23 side.

TJ is a holding midfielder who is already an international having made an appearance for Antigua and Barbuda. He had also played key role in the Youth Cup run.

We would like to welcome both players to the Charles Ground and hope that they enjoy their stay with us. The club would also like to thanks Gillingham FC for their support in agreeing these two deals.

  1. Is the injury situation THAT bad that we have enrol some kids from Gillingham,or are some players going to greener pastures??
I know it’s good to have a fairly decent squad,to cover the scenario of injuries and suspensions but this just adds to more players being available,or sitting on the bench.
We all know that out of the 5 subs,2 won’t get game time!
We also know what happens when players regularly don’t get “game time”,dont we!?
Perhaps running a reserve team might help?
8 other SCEFL teams and 1 Bostik league team compete in the KCFL,running reserve sides.
    If they can,what’s stopping Deal?
