The club are delighted to announce the signing of Dave Pilcher from Canterbury City. The 22 year old midfielder is no stranger to the Charles Ground after putting in a number of impressive performances during last season whilst Canterbury were ground sharing with the Hoops. The former Hythe, Ramsgate and Sittingbourne player moves to Deal with an impressive goal scoring record, having scored 70 goals in the last three and half seasons.
Commenting on the signing Steve King said, “We are really pleased to welcome Pilch to the club, he fits in with our ethos of young ambitious players and he already knows a number of the boys in the dressing room. He will add further competition for places and having watched him a number of times over the last couple of seasons I have no doubt he will help us to continue to push on”
Dave will not be available for the Beckenham game today but he will be available for selection for the Bearsted game next Saturday. We would all like to welcome Dave to the club and hope he enjoys his time in a Hoops shirt.
