DEAL BID TO GET BACK ON WINNING TRAIL IN LEAGUE

By Deal Town

Deal Town will bid to end their run of four successive defeats in the Southern Counties East League when they travel to Bromley on Saturday to take on Holmesdale.

Boosted by Tuesday’s Macron Challenge Cup victory over Sevenoaks Town, Derek Hares’ side will jump above Holmesdale in the table if they pick up three points from the game.

Holmesdale will have a new manager in charge, Byron Beard, who started the season as boss of Kent Invicta League side Orpington. Beard has now taken over at Oakley Road following John Wilfort’s departure to become Erith & Belvedere manager.

Deal Town Reserves face a tough test on Saturday when they take on Division 2 East leaders South Darenth at the Charles Ground in the NRG Gym Kent County League (2.45pm kick off).

  1. Three points,no injuries,no suspensions,all very welcome 🙂
Just a morale boost the team needs for the forthcoming Vase game!

  2. Great to have a squad injury free. Just need the luck
to enable a moral boosting win.
The lads need to get 3 points before the pressure
    gets to them.
    Come on Deal.!!!!
