The Hoops will have to contend with the most potent attacking force in the SCEL Premier Division when they travel to Eltham to take on Cray Valley (PM) on Saturday.
The Millers have banged in 49 goals in their 14 league games and provided further proof of their firepower with an impressive 4-0 victory at Sheppey Utd last Saturday in the third round of the FA Vase.
Cray Valley are currently in fifth place in the table, seven points behind leaders Fisher, but they have three matches in hand on the Fish and so are very much in title contention.
The Hoops have lost on their last four visits to the Badgers Sports Ground and they will need to produce a strong performance on Saturday, especially in defence, to break that sequence. But, after the disappointment of last weekend’s home defeat by Tunbridge Wells, Derek Hares’ side responded well in Tuesday’s 3-1 League Challenge Cup victory over Punjab United and will be bidding to record the fourth victory in their last five games this weekend.
