We are pleased to announce that we have completed the signing of Alfie Foster from Chatham Town FC. The 19-year-old midfielder will be available for selection against Crowborough on Saturday. Alfie made a number of appearances for Margate in the National South division last year and has been at Chatham since the beginning of the season, having been on loan there at the back end of last season. He also started for Margate in the pre-season friendly against Deal at the Charles Ground in July. The combative midfielder will add further competition for places and comes in at a time when the squad is stretched due to a number of injuries.

Commenting on the signing Steve King said, ‘Alfie is a player we have been tracking from the end of last season and we are delighted to have eventually signed him. We feel he is another young player with experience of playing at a higher level who will help push the team to the next level. He is an ambitious player and I am looking forward to seeing him in a Hoops shirt’.

The club have also completed the signing of Trinn Brisley on a dual registration from Ashford United. The young midfielder made his debut of the bench on Saturday against Corinthian and is in line to be in the squad for this Saturday’s game.
