Morgan is a competitive centre back/centre midfielder who was born in Ashford but grew up around Whitfield and Sandwich.

Morgan began his youth career at Whitfield Juniors at the age of four before moving to Woodnesborough a year later. At Woodnesborough, Morgan played alongside Owen Wilkinson, Will Callaghan and Kye Davidson which started a long-lasting association with the trio that endured right up to the Deal Town first team.

A year after Woodnesborough, Morgan split his time between Pace Academy and the Gillingham development team. He then moved on to Margate where he played for a couple of seasons before rejoining a former Pace coach at Dover Athletic where he played a year up at under 16s level.

At seventeen, with no under-18s team at Dover, Morgan sought a new club. He returned to Margate in 2023/24 and won the league title with the under-23s team.

He then made the move to Deal Town to captain the under 16s, having built a relationship with Danny Smith in Morgan’s time at Woodnesborough. Morgan captained the U16s team which won Kent Youth League, he then progressed to captain the Deal under 18s and under 23s team and lifted the league title again, this time with the u23s in 2024/25.

In his breakthrough season for the Men’s First Team in 2024/25 season he was the joint Young Player of the Season with Zak Hammond.

Morgan finished grammar school in 2025 and is hoping to get a place at University to study Law in September but will remain a part of the Deal Town first team through the 2025/26 season.
