Jack is a box to box or holding centre midfielder, who joined Deal in the Summer of 2025.

Jack began youth football at eight years old Phoenix Sports. At fifteen he moved to Maidstone United and played in the under 18s set up before moving across to Chatham Town reserves and progressing to the first team where he helped Chatham win promotion from the SCEFL into step 4.

The following season, Jack went out on loan on to Tunbridge Wells before spending a season at Whitstable and he then had a brief spell at Erith and Belvedere. He then went on to Bearsted where he spent a year and a half and quickly established himself as a regular starter in the team. In the season before he joined Deal, Jack made 44 appearances in all competitions for the Bears in the holding midfield role.

Jack knew Kingy from his time as Kent school’s manager and had been a long admirer of Jack. Kingy had previously attempted to lure Jack to the Charles Ground before he eventually joined in 2025.

Palms has played at the Charles Ground in the past with both Chatham and Whitstable but he was always on the losing side! Most recently he played for Whitstable against Deal in Deal’s SCEFL winning season of 24/25 where Deal won 3-0.
